Did You Know? October is National Dental Hygiene Month

We’re very proud of our team of dental hygienists! They play a critical role in our practice. In addition to helping our patients prevent and control bacteria, our hygienists help educate patients on the best techniques to improve and maintain healthy smiles for long-term success.

Study Club

Another way in which the Pennsylvania Center for Dental Implants promotes dental health improvement is via the Greater Philadelphia Hygiene Study Club. Since 2007, this continuing education group, coordinated and co-founded by Dr. Levine and our own Maggie Rutherford, has allowed more than 100 local hygienists to participate five times a year in educational meetings where they learn about the latest in dental hygiene and help advance the future of this career. The group is open to Registered Dental Hygienists, EFDAs and CDAs in the greater Philadelphia area.
