Dr. Levine and his prosthodontist colleague, Dr. Harry Randel, recently received the most votes in the national Straumann Pro Arch Content for their submission “The Team Approach in a Complete Mouth Pro Arch Hybrid Reconstruction Using the Indirect Method for Provisionalization.” Their top prize-winning case study documented the management of a 65-year-old female patient utilizing the Straumann Pro Arch solution and the collaboration of Dr. Levine, (dental implant surgeon) Dr. Randel, (prosthodontist) and the Newtech Dental Lab to treat the patient’s failing dentition. This “team approach” maximized all combined knowledge and skills to the benefit of the patient. Together, they were able to exceed their patient’s expectations for a beautiful new smile and improved quality of life.
Their winning case will be featured in an upcoming edition of STARGET, a global customer magazine dedicated to Straumann’s products and solutions. STARGET contains international, evidence-based clinical cases by esteemed clinicians, interviews and product information and is available in five languages (English, German, French, Spanish and Italian).
At the Pennsylvania Center for Dental Implants and Periodontics, both Dr. Levine and Dr. Fava partner with some of the finest dental practices and dental labs in the region as part of a superior, comprehensive “Team Approach” for the treatment of advanced dental implant, periodontal and periodontal-prosthesis cases. It is Dr. Levine and Dr. Fava’s beliefs that implant therapy delivered by an interdisciplinary “team” results in optimal outcomes for their patients.
At the recent Academy of Osseointegration international meeting in San Diego, CA (February, 2016), Dr. Levine presented his award-winning study. He has also lectured on full arch immediate load cases at meetings in Jackson Hole, WY (2015), at the American Academy of Periodontology Annual meeting in Orlando, FL (2015) and the Academy of Osseointegration meeting in San Francisco (2015).
Yet another reason to give Dr. Levine a big high-five next time you see him!
