Dr. Fava Pins New ITI Colleagues

Last month, our doctors hosted colleagues for an International Team for Implantology (ITI) course on implant rehabilitation. As a new feature of these regular meetings, Dr. Fava “pinned” new ITI Fellows, Dr. Ping Wang (Temple University AEGD; Acta University ITI Scholar) and Dr. Harriet McGraw (a restorative dentist from Michigan).

Dr. Levine established the Philadelphia Tri-State Area ITI club back in 2007 as an extension of the organization’s mission to continually improve patient treatment methods and outcomes. The Pennsylvania Center for Dental Implants and Periodontics hosts regular meetings throughout the year featuring guest speakers from across the country. Dr. Levine currently also serves as committee chair of the US ITI Membership/Fellowship Committee.

Dr. Levine and Dr. Fava are both Fellows of the International Team for Implantology, which is the largest independent academic organization in implant dentistry worldwide.

At the event, Dr. Adam Hamilton, Director of the Division of Regenerative Science and Implant Dentistry at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, lectured to a large group of attendees.
