Largest Dental Meeting in the World—And We Were There!

The Pennsylvania Center for Dental Implants and Periodontics is on the leading edge of the field of dental implantology.

Drs. Levine and Fava recently returned from Europe where they spent three days at the International Team for Implantology (ITI) World Symposium, the organization’s flagship event, held in Basel, Switzerland. Several local colleagues, all ITI Fellows, including Dr. Zola Makrauer, Dr. Harry Randel, Dr. Steven Present, Dr. Gary Nack and Dr. Rob Sattler, also attended.

Dr. Levine, during his presentation, thanked the Philadelphia area dentists with whom he works as referring “team” partners, as part of what he called “Team Philly.” Dr. Levine, an ITI Fellow, was among 100 lecturers and moderators to participate. He presented his latest paper, “10 Keys for Successful Esthetic-Zone Single Immediate Implants” for which he was lead author among a group of worldwide ITI clinical researchers. The paper was published in April 2017 in the Compendium of Continuing Education in Dentistry.

With close to 5,000 professionals attending from more than 90 countries, the World Symposium was the largest dental implant meeting ever held. There are presently 17,000 Members & 1,000 Fellows in this prestigious, international organization.

Levine long
