Three Cheers For Our Periodontal Hygienists!

In this country, dental hygienists are formally recognized with their own National Dental Hygienists Month —but not until October. We can’t let spring and summer go by without a public shout-out to our wonderful periodontal hygiene team!

Fighting Gum Disease

Our registered dental hygienists are licensed professionals who provide comprehensive periodontal hygiene treatments. They help educate and motivate patients on effective home hygiene and stay current on the latest topics and technologies to help assist our doctors in providing optimal patient care. They’re specially trained to spot periodontal (gum) disease and help patients treat early-stage gum disease now, thereby hopefully avoiding more expensive procedures down the road.
