Your Safety Continues To Be Our #1 Priority

In case you still have concerns about dental treatment at this time, we wanted to remind patients of the Pennsylvania Center for Dental Implants and Periodontics about our infection control measures. We’ve  gone well beyond regulatory requirements to minimize any airborne pathogens to protect all of us—that means you, the patients, and our own staff. Here’s just a short reminder about just a few of the enhanced safety measures we’ve added as well as some of our resulting patients’ comments:

  • Installation of state-of-the-art IQ Air purifying units to absorb dental aerosols and contaminants
  • Temperature (infrared) taken of each patient and team member (prior to and after work) along with asking patients to wash and sanitize hands thoroughly even before sitting in reception area
  • Removal of magazines, coffee makers and handouts
  • Staggered appointments by our doctors (separate schedules) to allow for even greater social distancing between patients
  • Plastic cough guards and antibacterial sanitation dispensers in reception
  • Use of special virus-killing mouth rinses
  • New PPE worn by team members
  • Increased use of tele-dentistry when appropriate
  • Deliveries, vendors and visitors temporarily not granted access to office
“Most recently, during this pandemic, I was especially impressed with Dr. Levine and his exceptional staff in how they are taking extraordinary measures to safely operate their facility. This is a further testament to their exceptional care and service to their patients. THANK YOU!! “ – Bob S.

“The precautions taken by the staff concerning the virus situation is the best. The environment in the rooms is super clean. The staff is always pleasant.” – Olga E.

“A positive experience, as always. Plus, I was impressed with the attention to detail and cleanliness because of COVID-19. I am so glad I started coming here all those years ago. I can truly say it was a life-changing experience. Thank you.” – Kim C.

Clinicians wear face shields over their PPE masks while using our new iQAIR extraoral suction air purification units which, when not in use, are still purifying the air throughout the office.

Taking Care of Your Teeth is So Important

Maintaining healthy teeth becomes even more important during stressful times like this. Better oral health supports general health, which includes our infection-fighting ability. That means that anyone who has gum disease, or who suspects they may have gum disease, needs to address the situation immediately since we know the bacteria from gum disease is being linked to so many other systemic diseases.

It’s our privilege to serve you during these challenging times and always. If you have any questions or concerns, please be sure to call us at 215-677-8686.
