Zooming into a New World

We all have experienced monumental changes in our world in the last few weeks as we find ways of navigating life during COVID-19. We want you to know that establishing a new “normalcy” for our patients and colleagues is a top priority and we hope to have an update for you soon.

In the interim, our continued education includes our popular study clubs for dental professionals, once held primarily at local venues. Now, videoconferencing with platforms like Zoom have allowed us to continue to share ideas and suggestions.

Dr. Philip L. Fava is one of four “world-renowned” guest speakers at an upcoming International Team for Implantology (ITI) webinar for ITI members, Fellows and colleagues. He’ll speak about the “Virtual Realities in Implant Dentistry” and other leading trends. Dr. Levine and Dr. Fava are both Fellows of the International Team for Implantology, which is the largest independent academic organization in implant dentistry worldwide (>19,000).

As of this writing, Drs. Levine and Fava have already hosted nine international webinars as part of their Philadelphia Tri-State ITI Study Club Zoom webinar series. Dr. Levine established the Philadelphia Tri-State Area ITI club back in 2007 as an extension of the organization’s mission to continually improve patient treatment methods and outcomes. Dr. Levine currently also serves as committee chair of the US ITI Membership/Fellowship Committee.
